Yes, we are planning to be open for most of the winter! Our cabins will be incredibly cozy, and will provide a cold-weather oasis for those looking for an escape from the bustle of the city in the winter months.

While we’re still searching for the perfect piece of land, we have secured a land acquisition partner and are working directly with a local real estate agent. We will be back on the ground in Maine come June and will be actively searching for the property that will be the heart and soul of Kinwright.

Kinwright sets itself apart by creating a deeply personalized experience within the hospitality space.
With craftsmanship at the forefront of everything we do, we will bring back the beauty of simplicity. Each item in the space and the surroundings will be intentional and carefully chosen.
Guests will share their priorities and wishes for their visit prior to their stay, and we will provide a truly unique and personalized experience including activity suggestions, individualized touches within the cabin, and direct access to us for concierge-level service prior to and during their stay.

Giving back to the community is at the heart of Kinwright’s mission.
To start, we will work closely with community partners and artisans, integrating them into Kinwright and promoting them in any way we can.
Through a 501(c)(3) nonprofit component in a later phase, we have plans for youth education programs, nature-focused workshops, artisan partnerships, non-profit farmers markets, and community events. We will aim to foster sustainability, connection, and lasting positive impact for both our guests and the local community.

While Kinwright may be near points of regional interest, our goal is to be the destination. With thoughtfully designed accommodations, immersive workshops, and stargazing under Maine’s breathtaking skies, we aim to provide everything guests need to reconnect with nature, their loved ones, and themselves.
With that said, we will have a close partnership with the community we belong to, and will suggest and encourage activities surrounding Kinwright - be that restaurants to try, hikes to experience, or craftspeople to visit.
